Parvati Kalyanam : Sonnet - 6
Delight and surprise, tangled and stood as a smile,
Parvati blushed to confide, what was already revealed;
Lord Shiv made a promise, to marry and reconcile,
drowning in passion, Parvati felt revived.
Parvati signalled maid, to refine the instance,
Lord Shiv was told, to propose at Royal palace;
Shiv accepted the formality, and left with a reassurance,
rejoiced with success, Parvati returned, to her palace.
Sacred sages were assembled, for ensuing participation,
Sages felt honoured, to be part, of the divine wedding;
Mount Himavat received, the formal proposition,
auspicious news, was revealed to the King, with a blessing.
Shiv Parvati forged, the entire existence,
encompassing time and space, as Nature’s confluence.
